Information technology (IT) auditors must play a significant role in any audit. Accordingly, our audit methodology integrates evaluation and testing of computerized information systems into all phases of our audits. Parker Meridian  has a specialized Information Technology Assurance and Control (ITAC) division in our Assurance Practice that supports the information systems technology audit needs of our financial audit teams. Our ITAC practice has information technology auditors with advanced certifications such as Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information System Security Professional, and Certified Information Systems Manager. Information Technology Assurance and Control professionals support the financial audit teams by reviewing system-based controls at our clients and their service providers, including reviews of the results of SSAE No. 16 reports, and by providing specialized data sampling and analysis support.
